Description

With the rapid development of technologies, especially the   Internet of things, 3D printer, big data, cloud computing, 5G, blockchain,   etc., the logistics and supply chain has been smarter. These technologies   have started to transform the ways we live and revolutionize the way of   traditional manufacturing, management, and operations. The supply chain   becomes smarter on planning, implementing, and controlling the forward, and   reverse flow and storage of goods, services, and related information to meet   customer's requirements. The potential economic, social and environmental   impacts, and benefits of the Intelligent technologies on are huge. Meanwhile,   intelligent technologies also pose great challenges to operations management   (OM) of supply chain in practice in terms of supply chain standards, supply   chain coordination, security and privacy concerns, risk management,   sustainability, service management, data application, smart finance, etc.   These problems require in-depth research to address.

The purpose of this Special Issue (SI) is to publish high-quality   papers addressing emerging operations management and technology creations in   the context of smart supply chain. Research that employ mainstream OM   research methodologies, such as mathematical modelling, algorithm,   optimization, simulation, event studies, questionnaire surveys, and case   studies is welcome.

The scope of ICLS2019 is to provide an international forum for the   exchange of ideas among interested researchers, students, developers, and   practitioners in the areas of smart   supply chain management and innovations. In this special issue, we would like   to select no more than 10 papers to be published in IJMOM journal. We will   also invite submissions directly from experts in this field to attain   sufficient high-quality papers.
